London marathon 25th April 2010
Allan Rumble is taking part in this years London marathon and Direct Seafoods Colchester has been kind enough to offer a donation of £250.00. He has pledged to raise a minimum of £1500.00, so he is very grateful for this donation.
It is the first time Allan has participated, and has been training hard – although he has been struggling with a calf injury over the last few weeks, and been under the guidance of the local physio at his Gym.

Saigon Vietnam to Angkor Cambodia 500kms bike ride Challenge
I am pleased to say that I completed my bike ride from Vietnam to Cambodia Charity Challenge . We completed the 397 miles in temperatures up to 116 f in the early afternoon. I attach some photos of the Challenge.
The heat made it very tough going, I lost about half a stone
but no blister's or sun burn.
Can I thank you for sponsoring me on behalf of the children with Downs
Syndrome who will benefit from your support. If you would still like to
sponsor my challenge it is not to late just go to:

Or you can send me a cheque payable to EFGA Hatfield (Romania Bike
Ride).
Again many thanks.

Saigon Vietnam to Angkor Cambodia 500kms bike ride Challenge - 2 Days to go!!
The training is over, the exercise bike can have a rest as it is now only two days to go before I start my 500 kms Charity Challenge bike ride.
A big thank you to all of you that have sponsored me, thanks to my main sponsors Barrett Firrell Ltd, Seafood Holdings, Oakforest Group and Maxgain Ltd.
As far we have raised £2,435 in sponsorship for the Charity, so I am hoping that we will meet our target of £4,000.
If you have not sponsored me and would like to, no matter how small it all helps to support the charity which gives hope and a better quality of life for children with Downs Syndrome.
Here are the
details of the Challenge
or you can go to www.justgiving.com/Raymond-Little0 to sponsor on line or send me a cheque payable to EFGA Hatfield (Romania Bike Ride).

Santa has arrived early in West Allotment thanks to Taylor Foods Newcastle.
After reviewing a number of good causes within the
area Taylor Foods have adopted West Allotment Boy’s Club and Community Centre as
their local charity.
Taylor Foods have offered to support the Club in a
variety of ways by providing practical support in the upkeep of the building,
helping with printing costs and sponsorship of events.
However, Santa
will have a busy time in West Allotment as he will be paying another visit at 12
o’ clock on Saturday 12th December 2009, when the West Allotment Boy’s Club and
Community Centre Christmas Fayre will open with mulled wine and mince pies on
offer, together with a number of stalls, bran tub, tombola and raffle draw”.
